Ronney goes to Euro 2012

It is confirmed. Wayne Rooney will be in England squad for European Championships 2012, even though he is suspended for three matches, after getting a red card in match against Montenegro, which makes entirety of the group stages.

According to The Independent, Rooney was told in person by Capello that he will join England squad 2012, despite his ban, but that he will not be included for friendlies against Spain and Sweden.

Capello has been thinking for a few weeks about a decision whether it would be worth taking Rooney to Poland and Ukraine. Many things Rooney did in his career spoke to his benefit, and Capello had nowhere to go, but to assure him place in Englad Euro 2012 squad.
Meanwhile, it's also reported that the FA has to decide whether or not to appeal against ban meted against out Rooney.
