Transfer news: Almeida leaves Bremen

Portugal striker Hugo Almeida has agreed to leave Werder Bremen, and to move to Besiktas in 2 million euro deal. 26-year-old Almeida is Werder's top scorer with 9 goals this season, and, at least for me, 2 million is not very good deal for Bremen. He will sign a 3,5 year deal, with a sallary of 50000 euros per week. Almeida has missed last 3 matches in Bundesleague, because he got straight red card late on in match against St. Pauli, where he scored a hat-trick.
