Zigic's handball stops Manchester

At tuesday's game, Manchester was very near of winning the game against Birmingham, when in 90. minute, Lee Bowyer scored for 1-1. However, Lee Bowyer's late goal was previously assisted by Nikola Zigic, who played handball. Sir Alex Ferguson claims that he, beside touching ball with his hand, fouled Ferdinand and "almost sat on his back". He was particularly angry on referee Bowyer's namesake, Lee Mason. He also adds that United was better team in match against Birmingham and that they should have won. This referee mistake wasn't affected that much on Manchester's position in league table, they are still first, sharing that place with city rivals and having 2 games less played. However, referee has affected on those who layed odds on Manchester's win, which, I assume, is not small number.
