Ferguson ready to let Vidic go

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is set to "pull out the heart" of his defense, and to sell former Serbian national team player, Nemanja Vidic, to Real Madrid next summer, according to newspaper Daily Mail. Jose Mourinho is watching Nemanja for a long time and hi is prepeared to send an offer for him. He wants to build a team that can take over the trophy of Champions League from their rival Barcelona. According to British media, it would not be expected that Ferguson let the Serbian international in January. However, no matter what, English media think that Ferguson will consider selling Vidic next summer to his old friend Mourinho only if there will be enough money offered to United to bring appropriate replacement. The long-term future of Rio Ferdinand at "Old Trafford" is uncertain, and selling Vidic at the time when young defenders Phil Jones, Chris Evans and Johnny Smoling are still developing is great risk. However, Ferguson is, reportedly, not very satisfied with the way Serb is playing this season, but all that was caused by injuries he had and Vidic is still not in that form that is expected of him. Nemanja Vidic is a member of the best team of Ferguson's era.
